    I have helped a friend in unit 24 and hunted outside of Strawberry. We spent a little time up in Washington creek and didn't check out Pine or outside of Payson. Are you from the Payson area

    Nice buck, I went into 119 a few years ago to take a look in late winter after the season. saw lots of deer in the southend of the unit.

    I was planing on hunting near the tops, I have 15 days to find a bull. Will be there on the first of Nov, should give enough time to figure the puzzle out.

    Nevada Worth the Money

    I agree with you, Nevada can only hold so many elk and I don't think they can expand that much more. Lack of water is big and the wild horse problem in giant. I don't there is a bad elk unit in Nevada, it is managed for Quality. There are other states that the draw odds are a lot better...
