Sure those Montana boys are a pain! Great guiding job Dad
on a buck many would consider one of a lifetime.
The boys do know some great high country Muley spots, but
admit Montana is a long drive for prom, and these are really good spots
for 180+ bucks :)
Very nice buck! I have 4 boys from 11 to just turned 18 so I know what
you mean about hectic school/sports schedules. BTW, my 2 middle boys
would appreciate Ally contact info:)
CJ Box was in Pinedale,Wy recently at benefit that a Son
and I attended. We found him really funny and down to earth.
He had taken an Elk the day before and obviously loves the hunt.
Love his books.
I read this with 3 of my sons, they loved the story and the pic. That's the way we hunt, want some big horns but gotta have the elk meat. Congrats on the great blessing!
Hey Outwestoutdoors! Most of us ARE in the mist of heavy hunting now. I hunted Elk for the first 9 days of season, now back at work for a long 3 days then 11 straight days to get a bull on the ground with the Hoyt. Love this time of year!!
Best of luck on the Sheep hunt. Tagging a bighorn was the highlight of my hunting so far. The effort, the country, the pain and reward combine to make the ultimate experience. Looking forward to the updates!
Great Ram, Congrats on a fantastic critter! Here on your old home front, seeing good antler growth this year. Should be an interesting season in Western Wyoming.
