I talked to a lady at HQ...shes as confused as you would expect....rented a little cabin this year. Owner promised he would not turn me in. I'll just pay at the pump and stay on the hill as much as I can- MNTrapper

I have my tag already which helps in this NR situation. I called Reg 2 office to see what the deal was with tagging before this announcement. I heard this was coming. Conservation Easements
I granted (was compensated for) a conservation easement on my 240 acres in east central ND. It's mostly a duck slough now but has about 80 +/- acres of hay ground in dry years. the USFWS program I'm in really just precludes draining the land or filling it in. I think the compensation was fair...- MNTrapper
