Solo caribou hunt
Just anecdotal share. 2 hunting buddies just did the trip driving from Fairbanks to Deadhorse. They hiked from the road and set up camp in the rifle zone. In my experience, opening weekend elk will still be in their herds then after the pressure hits they break up until its get cold and snowy toward later in November. My first bull was in a bachelor group but within a mile of large cow herd, that was an opening weekend hunt. Hope this helps!- MColemanMT

Podcast on wounding
Really enjoyed this one. Its something I think about as I've gotten more into archery hunting and heard a lot of stories of arrows flying and elk not recovered.
