I can’t speak for all inlines or sidelock but my TC Renegade sidelock is easier to clean with less parts and takes less time than my Knight Mountaineer.
I think muzzleloader hunting is fun and I’m into long range centerfire rifles. It has provided opportunities in other states and sometimes great season dates. I shoot an inline and a percussion sidelock.
I follow the state I am hunting but can be ready for whatever is “allowed”

If bullshop is still around he made me soft lead conicals for my .54 TC Renegade. 450 grain Great Plains that shot very well out of a 48 twist in front of a wool wad.
Late season has its challenges being hunted for a few months and was a grind. Stuck with it and was awarded a spike with a TC .54 cal sidelock muzzleloader. Used a 450 grain lead conical and 85 grains of Olde Eynesford black powder.
