Data center/Public lands analysis
Or, put them in space. Frankly I don't want any land that has wildlife or farming repurposed to wind, solar, or data, public or private. Ecosystem, after all. Old factories, parking lots, have at it.- longbow51

Trying new rifles this season
Well, Ruger eliminated the 77s and No.1s (maybe influenced by 25% Beretta ownership, maybe by market demand, who knows), and S&W bought Savage, so their fate is unknown. Makes me wonder if HOWA is being sold off, nothing more than a guess though. -
Spot Sharing
I always shared that our elk camp was in a Wilderness Area; just not the one it was in ;)- longbow51

Blood Meridian - I Don’t Get It….(Spoilers)
No Country for Old Men haunted me; as mentioned, evil incarnate, which the movie captured well. As for Tarantino, if you liked Pulp Fiction, watch Jackie Brown, from a novel by Elmore Leonard.- longbow51

Are bear fences worth it?
Yes, for sure. We had one around our wall tent in elk camp for years. Cooked in it and never had a problem and grizzlies were all over the place.- longbow51

What's on the Grill Or just got off?
😂 Probably so. Lets me smoke with lump charcoal and wood chunks with the convenience of a pellet grill, though. Control everything with my phone.- longbow51

Make brown rice palatable
As mentioned, not all rices are equal...kids were deployed to Korea for a long time. Basmati and jasmine are game changers, as is a simple rice cooker for like $30.- longbow51

What is "the great American novel"?
Well, Hemingway, said (in Green Hills of Africa) that the GAN was Huck Finn; all novels after that were somewhat derivative, and may have been true when he said it. Lots of good ones mentioned; would include: The Sun Also Rises Hemingway Horseman, Pass By McMurtry One Flew Over the Cuckoos...- longbow51

Pronghorn Liver
It's delicious, just like whitetail if not milder. Just don't overcook it; that's why most people don't like it.- longbow51
