Erik, any info on the caribou up north?
Ooops! I guess I wasn't very clear with my first message. I didn't actually mean that I wanted to drive offroad, but rather drive off the Haul Road on another road. There is a road going off the Haul Road near Galbraith Lake. One can drive back this road for a mile or two, thereby shortening the...- Leob

Hi Erik. Do you have any info on the caribou along the Haul Road? I'm thinking about going to the Galbraith Lake area next week. Are there any other places where one can drive off the road and shorten the five mile hike in? Thanks!- Leob

2006 Hunts
Caribou hunt up the Haul Road during the first part of August. Waiting to see if I get drawn for a permit hunt before I plan the rest of the season.- Leob
