Been shooting 6.5x55 for 58 years (damn I'm aging myself again) Heavy into hunting and competition up to 95 the 6.5 for long range is a bit on the small caliber side. Someday I hope I'll get a chance to go Elk hunting. I have taken deer with 25-06 and 30-06 out to 750 yards and two caribou one...- L. Clay Cooper USAF Ret.

Looks just like the same hill south of Weed New Mexico when a string of Mule Deer headed straight up it. Had several trees in my way. A Good Start For 2020

How many rounds at the range?
The number of rounds depends on the experience of the operator behind it. It normally takes 4 to 8 rounds. then I make several trips away from the range for much needed trigger time to achieve an intimate relationship with the load at different ranges and the use of equipment.
