Talk me into Coyote hunting
Does this require a fur harvester permit, If you are selling the pelts, or skinning them at all? I imagine I guess it different in every state.- KSBorn

Coyote hunting over turkey decoys?
Awesome. I'll check that book out. I'm certainly not a lead slinger so no worries there. :) One shot one kill. Usually with a bow. But I'll carry a .30-06 if the occasion arises. This is one of the few places I can hunt with a rifle. Been thinking about grabbing the old .30-30 or .243 from my...- KSBorn

I hunt with an heirloom US M17, modernized (sported) in the 50's on the west coast. Seems short sided to git rid of any firearm. Aren't they for collecting? -

Coyote hunting over turkey decoys?
I hunted a new piece of private land I gained access to this leftover season in Central Kansas. I found no less than 4 fresh dens and tracks on the heels of any deer sign. Finally some good news
Right, and one of the best archers in the world right now, was born without arms...Matt Stutzman. Now I'm not saying he is out there hunting and hiking in the woods. But a guy like that clearly makes no excuses. -

Kansas deer rifle or archery
We also get blessed on the occasion with a post season rut for a couple days near the third week of December. (Resident Archery still going on) After they 'cool' off from the first round. If the bucks haven't been seen, sometimes they pop out around then. I've never sat with my bow on pub land... -

Tornado in Kansas tonight
