Daytime Thermal Binocular or Monocular Use
I believe a 50 mm is much better, my monocular is 19mm and it's good on 1x but once you increase the range up it gets. pixalated, Ive just ordered a atn mars 4. 384x288 it's either 35 or 50. Looking forward to using it, fog, moonlight be good now. A mono it best early morning or late evening...- kiwi hunter

Daytime Thermal Binocular or Monocular Use
I'm about to get one, will do a write up. But for me it's a lifechanger, with my monocular for spotting rabbits and foxes and deer, I can actually distinguish the three different.Deer that we have in my neighbourhood.using nite vision scopes you're limited by the amount of growth like grass etc...- kiwi hunter

Had a bit of time while waiting for the fertilizer truck so snuck down with three rounds and the prochrono 3714 3770 3809 Tight little group and that was sitting in a chair over a flimsy tripod. 222 rem with 33 gr hammers, just hope the speed trap works this time. I think I was too much under the trees the other day. When I initially loaded some up about a yr ago I got 3850 on the screen.- kiwi hunter
