That time of yr again.
This evening mr buck allowed me to see him at 300 mtrs about 20 mins before dark, just a youngster with split palms. Now next door in the neighbours a new stag made an apperance, nice palms with no splits, which god shall i pray to so he jumps my way. 🎂- kiwi hunter

When i brought this property there was one fallow doe inside my 200 acre enclosed area, next summer there were two, i shot two last yr, they dont have a problem in increasing numbers, as our allocated rainfall was abysmal and i have to cull hard. The Great HT 2026 weigh in.
One thing about having extra padding, the wind doesnt affect your bow sighting so much. Im about 150, anything over 10 km per hr and my shooting goes to hell.- kiwi hunter

New bow and loving it
Today the wind dropped to under 10 km, i stepped out to 20 mtrs and got a happy result. On friday i picked up a small package at the post shop, my new grim reaper 125 gr hades pro 3, damn near enough to the field points. There are a couple if stags that i class as culls, will try out on them.- kiwi hunter
