Hopefully I’ll get mine in the mail today but I’m a little concerned. Last year they mailed mine to a person in another state (no idea how that happened because my address is correct in the system), who then saw that it wasn’t his and kindly mailed it to me.- Kearnsie14

Leupold scopes love or hate em?
I have two Meopta scopes and like them both. For reference, I zero at 200 yards and don’t shoot past 300 yards so I’m not messing with turrets after I zero it. They shoot where I aim. For the OP, I owned a VX2 3-9x40 that I had to send in for repair a few years ago because a turret was broken...- Kearnsie14

Winter kill update
I notice that in a few areas in southern WY they’ve proposed to actually increase cow/calf elk tags and that confuses me. I assumed that all of southern WY got smoked and that tags would be reduced (or stay the same, at best). Is that incorrect? Or are elk just faring better? I hear conflicting...- Kearnsie14

I had this happen to me once. They already dinged your card when you applied so you’re good. The only issue is if you don’t draw and they need to refund you. Sounds like you’ll draw with 5.33 though. Worst case, if you don’t draw they’ll have to contact you to update your card for refund...- Kearnsie14

WY General Elk - Who's In?
In with 5 points. I wanted to cash my points in last year but I had a scheduling conflict this past fall that I knew would interfere with the hunt. At the time, I thought 5 points this year would be automatic for the GEN tag. Now it seems iffy.- Kearnsie14
