Outfitter recommendations
i used http://www.mttrophy.com/ last year for my cow elk hunt... i now know why they outfitter cost so much, the other guides who didnt have clients were out glassing all day for elk for us or other clients they had coming in... -

MT 380-01 Unit Map
if you go to FWP and click on hunt planner, select elk, view map, on the left hand side about half way down it will say elk portions, click the down arrow and follow down until you hit 380 south.... that will give you the area you can hunt... hunt that unit last year lots of private land -

Central MN here
hey guys and gals been pheasant hunting and deer hunting in central Minnesota all of my life. Recently took up Elk hunting and loved it. I didnt apply for tags this year but if anyone needs help i would love to go and gain experience
