Idaho fall bear units
Nambaster...does this still hold true? I know and see this is from a few years back but I'm considering a last minute fall bear hunt to Idaho in the coming weeks. Thank you. Yes - wasn't much he was missing. 342-6/8 gross. Only 7" difference left to right. "Weak" fronts left him just short of B&C...but I kept him anyway:-)! -

Help me with a varmint scope?
I see this thread dates back a ways and I'm late to the party. We do a fair amount of varmint hunting here in SD. To be honest, I'm more of a holdover guy than a dial guy...BUT...I'd say either a Leupold or Nightforce for dialing. Leupold gives you some budgeting options...I have several... -

Cerakote color pattern suggestions for rifle stock
Not sure of the exact color name...but mine matches the "Khaki" color in McMillan's desert transition color scheme. Desert transition = tan, khaki, brown. -
