They are actually the L fund. The G fund is the Government Securities Investment fund. I invest entirely into the L 2050 fund.- jnagel32

I bought my wife a nice Canon DSLR a few years ago for Christmas. She said she would like a decent tripod for it and she doesn't care if I use it for my western hunting trips. 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle Suggestions
If I were you I'd take a hard look at the Christensen Arms Mesa and the Bergara Ridge. Mesa you can get in the $1100-1200 range and then spend $800-900 on a scope/rings. The Ridge you can get for about $750 and have tons of money leftover for a nice scope/ring setup.
