Kansas would be my 1st pick, but dang those property taxes are way too high! OTC Deer, great bird hunting, and Colorado is close with ridiculously easy tags for Nonresident's. Great Bend would be an awesome place to live! Daughter is starting school this fall at Ft Hays and I'm looking forward...- jlmatthew

Colorado OTC - How bad is it
You have every right to be there on public land as the archery hunters. I'll be chasing grouse in September too and have had some really great encounters with archery guys when my dog and I are busting through the country hahaha! Best time to go is the first week of October after archery... -

You're actually tempting me! Because of this clown state I live in, I have been going out of state (WY & KS) to hunt, and enjoy it so much more than hunting here. Who’s returning a tag?
Funny how the best idea's come from folks "visiting" from other states where you just go to Walmart and buy a tag good statewide. If I want to deer hunt I have to apply by April for a season that starts in November that runs 7 days and hope like hell I or someone in the family doesn't get sick...- jlmatthew

Norma bondstrike
My rifle loves Bondstrikes! So much so that I have 30 boxes of the stuff and I DONT reload so it wasnt for the brass in my case. I've only shot a Whitetail and Coyote with them but had a pass through on the whitetail at 200 yards. Shooting a 30/06- jlmatthew
