    allang22 - we had a good time but we were never really feeling like we were in the right place. I posted an update on my thread with a lot of info... we spent time in three different areas. We made it up to Diamond creek on the 2nd afternoon and hunted there the 3rd day as well.

    We camped along the east fork of the Gila and it seemed like an area that elk would have liked... I saw them there last summer. But we just didn't ever see any bulls. Has me scratching my head about what to do next year.
