Colorado Unit 161 (High Country)
I have done the high country hunt in other units, never Zirkel though. My findings are that it's Colorado so expect it to be crowded or at least a few people. The elk will still be high so if other hunters are serious about getting a elk they will be up there too. You will probably not see that...- Outofstate-r

I think thats my plan. My only issue is that I work in healthcare and I can't take a whole month off :) and my wife wouldn't like it to much either.- Outofstate-r

Guys, I am a flatlander. Been elk hunting in Co (archery) got close, couldn't seal the deal. Then back the following yr for high country mule deer.
