I am fairly disappointed by the commentary and limited perspective expressed in so many of the threads. In our home state (VA), property owners (resident and non-resident) do not need a license to hunt their own property. Same for their immediate family. Seasons, bag limits, … still apply...- JBGESV

I saw your post about unit 51, and decided to reach-out. My son-in-law will be hunting deer in 51 during the general season. We saw several elk two years ago, but did not find any deer. We were in the southern area near Howe. Any information would be greatly appreciated.- JBGESV
