Guessing the delay in the firing could've come from fowling in the breech, any debris between the primer and the powder could cause that. As for being in your truck, if you had it in the cab the heat would've warmed it up, causing it to condense in the case so it's pretty much stored wet. It can...- jakewood321

Truck Saw Recommendation?
Can't go wrong with a stihl, husky, or echo. Could save yourself some hassle if you start it every now and then and keep the gas fresh, I'm sure regardless of brand with proper care almost any brand is going to serve you well.- jakewood321

Wild turkey recipe.
Congrats on an awesome bird! My favorite is wrapping the breasts in bacon then throwing it on the smoker, keeps the meat moist and gives it fantastic flavor. Kind of like you would if you were to cook pheasant, both very lean and low fat, don't overcook it!- jakewood321

Favorite or Best best wrist release out there and why?
Personally I shoot a trufire hardcore. Love the adjustability and the hook style release causes almost no wear on the D-loop. Never had an issue with them but I did have to replace one when i dropped it in an uncut bean field..- jakewood321
