400gr with a good sock liner and a wool sock is what i run from November through March whether it's upland pheasant hunting or sitting and calling coyotes.
Not a top of the line shotgun, but i picked up a Stevens 555 in 16 gauge O/U. Interchangeable choke tubes and fits like a dream, have yet to shoot it though. Will be a nice lightweight pheasant gun this fall. It was around 700 out the door.
