    I had a similar issue. Ripped out my basement shower and it didn’t get rid if it. I took the toilet out and replaced it with new wax ring. Didn’t fix it either. I put a plug over my toilet drain.     Hey I ended up postponing it until next September 2024. I finally had someone that went to Colorado with me. No elk but still fun. I am looking forward to going up north next year. Hopefully I can get some fishing in also

    My experience has been it dries out the outer layer of meat. I trim it off it’s usually minimal. I have however just threw it in ground hoping it would moisten up with the rest of the burger but I didn’t care for the texture. Just my .02
