    Spent the day cooking cause why the heck not. Corned moose smoked along with some red cabbage and red potatoes. Made a Sheppards pie as well, just to make sure we are covered. The wife whipped up a green loaf of sour dough for the kids. All tasted great!

    I think I want a pistol

    Took the plunge and got a Mark IV in a target. I am working to find the ammo it likes best and will be installing a red dot shortly. I picked up a nice holster off of Etsy. Hope it makes a nice little grouse/ squirrel gun.

    Have you tried swinging by a place like Scheels and trying on all their boots in your size to get the best fit possible across all boots, and to compare stiffness of different boots to on another?

    Plate ‘em up

    Two dishes for my FIL’s b day. First was a sous vide, coffee rubbed, seared moose tenderloin. Finished with a black pepper cream sauce. Second was a wild rice, pheasant, chukar, homemade casserole (a throw back to the casserole’s that everyone made in the 80’s). Both turned out awesome!
