Time for a new hunting dog
Couldn't agree more. Trying to breed point into labs causes breeders to ignore the favorable traits that make labs good. Leave them alone. BUT, I can't help buy point you to a litter of GSP's out of my special male...- Funkman

Swamp collies
I trained one for a customer that was an awesome dog. We got to be friends and have been hunting together several times. I hunt shorthairs but I really like his Golden.- Funkman

E Collar lifespan?
I've had a couple old Tri-Tronics Model 70 systems that lasted over 20 years with battery change outs. Finally couldn't get parts for them, so I had to switch to a new Garmin system. So far, so good but I've only had it for 2 years.- Funkman
