Thanks Mthuntr. I might have been thrown by the 'hounds' in the title of this chat group. Also, I've seen some Mountain Cur mentions in the past. Regardless, thanks for the feedback. I just love talking dogs!- Funkman

Swamp collies
I trained one for a customer that was an awesome dog. We got to be friends and have been hunting together several times. I hunt shorthairs but I really like his Golden.- Funkman

E Collar lifespan?
I've had a couple old Tri-Tronics Model 70 systems that lasted over 20 years with battery change outs. Finally couldn't get parts for them, so I had to switch to a new Garmin system. So far, so good but I've only had it for 2 years.- Funkman

Teaching Pup to Swim Like An Otter
I raise GSP's and waterfowl hunt with them. I've noticed that while my line all love to swim, not all are as graceful. I'm convinced there is a genetic component.- Funkman
