What Bino harness are you running
Makes sense. I feel like that might bug me, but I also like some of the other features of the enclosed pack (padded straps, better modularity, better side pockets). I guess if I’m going in and out a lot, I could just keep the binos hanging by the tethers outside of the harness. Decisions... -

What Bino harness are you running
I’ve wondered about this but haven’t heard the complaint from other reviews I’ve looked at. Do you think it was specific to your bino or would it have been an issue with any bino? Did you have to pay return shipping? -

Squirrels because why not?
Gotta love squirrel hunting! It’s how I started hunting, still love getting out. Late season squirrels can be hard to find/hunt around here. But early season they are everywhere.- footingit

8x42 vs 10x42 steadiness
I wonder if the field of view makes a bigger difference than the magnification for “jumpiness”. I just recently upgraded to a Zeiss Conquest 10x42 from an REI-brand 8x32. They list very similar FOV and seem to be about the same shakiness. But of course a much brighter, clearer, larger image with... -

Fixed power scopes 6x end of an era?
Sadly it looks like they are no longer making that scope. It’s marked as discontinued on MidwayUSA and not listed on Weaver’s site. I’ve been trying to find a decent, clean looking (not lots of turrets/knobs), modestly priced fixed power for my dad’s lever action and it seems impossible now...
