Dumb Utah preference points question
That's what I figured, but I managed to overthink it and confuse myself. Looks like probably at least one more year of throwing money at Utah before I can maybe get a tag. Man, I just want the chance to go hunt with my brother-in-law and his family once, not even trying to chase after some trophy.- fleabagmatt

Dumb Utah preference points question
I was poking around looking at draw odds this morning (This is for a general season tag in the Southern part of the state, not LE.) and I got to wondering, when you apply for a tag, does a point get added to your application total for this year? What is this thing?
I bet someone here has an idea, google hasn't been of any help. I was out running the dogs on some BOR land that we hunt for pheasant/quail and found this thing leaning up against some sagebrush.
