Colorado unit 41/411 OTC Archery Elk
Is the north side blm in 41 worth looking over? Was thinking about grabbing the third season otc rifle tag but also do some deer scouting. I’ve never elk hunted so I’m just looking for experience- Engineguy852

Plant identification
I searched for a forum but couldn’t find one so I decided to just create one. Can someone tell me what kind of plant this is? I want to do a whiskey barrel mount with some habitat and need to see if I can find a replica. Specifically the plant in the background here. Thanks in advance- Engineguy852

Yea I mean I hate to be so picky cause it did kill all three deer. I guess I’m just afraid if I shoot a deer across a canyon or far enough away I don’t know exactly where he was that I’ll have trouble tracking with no blood trail. So I’ve killed 3 mule deer with a 28 nosler, ironically they’ve all been under 200 yards. I’ve tried 2 different bullets now (eldx, and terminal ascent) and although all three deer died, I haven’t been impressed with the performance. Yes sir! Thanks for the advice. I was out there last year in the summer and was in the middle of a marathon training block. Think I ran 51 miles that week at 6600 feet and my body seemed to do ok. Now I definitely noticed a difference when we went hiking at got up to 11k, that was wild!- Engineguy852
