You probably already know it and just call it by another name.
You can add the leaves to salad, or substitute for half of the basil in pesto. It’s very mild. The stems are bitter. The tiny flowers are sweet like honeysuckle. My kids just pick and eat the flowers.

Pulled my stands yesterday, late, finally. No mushrooms yet, but did see 20 turkeys, incl. 5 fighting toms. I’ll be out next weekend w/ my daughter.
9/9/23. I bumped him at 10 yards in thick cover, and he walked away. I wondered if perhaps he was sick or injured.
4/13/24, 150 yards away. Still in velvet. I’m guessing he died within 2 weeks of when I saw him alive.

If by scent control you mean reducing your scent, don’t attempt it. I wish I had someone give me that advice 25 years ago. Instead of learning about how a deer’s nose works, thermals, and topography, I focused on “scent products”. I fed entirely into the marketing narrative...
Good times. I think I’m 7 weeks with my only outdoor exposure shoveling the front walk. Today a coworker asked how turkey season was going and I wasn’t aware it had started.
