When I was 8, I was gifted a single shot 410. It didn’t have an ejector so I had to keep a stick handy to knock the shell out. Also….shooting 410 slugs at deer was not all that effective. I believe we found 1 out of the three I shot. My dad had the keep shooting mentality.
I really like the feel of this rifle but am becoming more of a minimalist in the gun Dept. I figured I should sell it before I got emotionally attached!
I have a never fired Howa 6.5x55 rifle professionally bedded in a bell and Carlson stock with kydex cheek riser. Stock was pulled from another rifle. Rifle will come with scope base, new rcbs dies and shell holder. Asking $650 to your FFL.
I just want to let everyone here know that Legacy Sports customer service is pretty awesome! If you have an issue they will take care of you and I truly believe go above and beyond to make sure your expectations are met.
Got it, I will try those next. There are so many options out there....it is really hard to narrow down the next to try. I figured I would get pointed in the right direction here!
Thanks!
Chad,
Thank you for reaching out! I tried the superformance SSTs and they shot around 2.5 MOA at 100. I was able to get just under MOA with the standard 180 hornady whitetail loads. I was hoping to find a bullet with a little better BC than the soft point. Where do you recommend going from here?
