Where was this buck hit?
I had a similar scenario bow hunting a couple of years ago where my shot was a little low and the deer didn't lower down to bound away after the shot. I just knicked the back of her leg and lower chest. Had hair and just drops of blood similar to yours. No real pooling anywhere. Waited a couple... -

Colorado Elk Hunting
Man I feel like i could have been the one to make this post. Im just about to leave for my first elk hunt in CO 3rd rifle OTC. Leaving tomorrow from Ohio and I'm just so excited to get out there. Have a game plan to try to avoid the masses, but we shall see. Anytime in the woods with my brothers... -

Great Job! Good to see how hard work pays off. My elk life is starting on Saturday as my dad, brother, and I are leaving for CO 3rd rifle tomorrow from Ohio. Gonna miss the whitetail rut this year but some good old-fashioned public land OTC out west seems to be worth it. So happy for you!
