Sleeping in truck or tent
I put a topper on my truck mainly to use for sleeping in it. It's a medium rise (6" above cab height). It gives me enough headroom with my cot. I added a Bedrug liner for added insulation. I have slept in in down into the teens without a heater. An extra wool blanket over my sleeping bag keeps...- dpettina

Old scopes... that work
I have a Weaver K2.5 that my dad mounted on a 30-06 back in 1969. I took it off the 06 and replaced it with a 3x9 Leopold several years back. A few years ago I mounted it on a 45/70. It's still crystal clear and holds zero even with the abuse from the 45/70 -

Do it all caliber and bullet weight
My brother is a one gun guy. He hunts everything with a .270win shooting 130grain accubonds that he loads himself. It is very capable. -

Bergdahl decision.......seriously?
Bergdahl is a traitor. This whole thing has been handled horribly! This decision is a disgrace and a huge insult to our country and all that have served. They should've left him with his captors.- dpettina
