This is part of the question presented in their briefing by the appellants in this Supreme Court case. Please take a closer look at the law. It's pretty outrageous.
"Viewing parents as the problem, Washington passed laws that deliberately target certain parents by supplanting them with the...
I don't want to hijack the OP's inquiry. My response was to illuminate some of the messed-up stuff that Washington state is doing. Hopefully that give them some insight into where they want to relocate too.
Washington state Senate bill 5599 from 2023 session. I believe Codified in RCW 13.32A. International Partners for Ethical Care, Inc. v. Ferguson, is the supreme court case that deals with the statute. I think they are hearing arguments next session.
it's a pretty cool cartridge and the FN pistol is pretty light with low recoil. The Secret Service uses this setup with specialty ammo. It's a flat shooter. I've always thought about getting one but the ammo costs kept me from pulling the trigger. Ammo is much cheaper now than ever.

What load were you using? Tim Sundle from Buffalo Bore has been doing videos and he was recommending the 45 acp over the 10mm with his Outdoorsman load.
The one thing that gives me pause on that 2.5-12 is that there's no exposed elevation dial. At that magnification I think I would prefer to dial rather than hold over with a ranging reticle. Plus, the dial you can use at any power.
The p365 and p320 look similar but the internal designs are a bit different. I've not heard of any significant safety issues with the 365. Now the 320 is a different story.
