We are in 705 in MT fri/sat and part of sun with 2 buck and 2 doe tags and probably not going to pass many opportunities. I hunted this area 4 years ago and there were animals everywhere, I hunted it last year on 2 doe tags and there were not many but still a few. Taking my boy to grind it... -

Favorite Pronghorn States
As has been said go wherever you can get drawn. Each state you just adjust your expectations of what class buck you want to poke at. "WY, MT, CO, UT, and NM." WY is a great state, just got hammered by winter kill in many spots, need a couple mild winters to rebuild, point banking time... -

Montana 700s
Populations are down quite a bit, I'd expect more tag cuts next fall. Can still find a respectable buck, but not a 1 day and done hunt like it used to be. You are going to need to cover a lot of ground (not outside of possibilities to drive 500 mi a day), know what's public and private... -

Pronghorn are easy to do at home. If you can pop the sheath off, just drop the skull in a home depot bucket, cover it with water, put the lid on and let it sit somewhere downwind for a couple months. clean inside the sheath if anything left in there, whiten skull put them back together, glue... -
