Favorite Pronghorn States
As has been said go wherever you can get drawn. Each state you just adjust your expectations of what class buck you want to poke at. "WY, MT, CO, UT, and NM." WY is a great state, just got hammered by winter kill in many spots, need a couple mild winters to rebuild, point banking time... -

Montana 700s
Populations are down quite a bit, I'd expect more tag cuts next fall. Can still find a respectable buck, but not a 1 day and done hunt like it used to be. You are going to need to cover a lot of ground (not outside of possibilities to drive 500 mi a day), know what's public and private... -

Pronghorn are easy to do at home. If you can pop the sheath off, just drop the skull in a home depot bucket, cover it with water, put the lid on and let it sit somewhere downwind for a couple months. clean inside the sheath if anything left in there, whiten skull put them back together, glue... -

Spent a couple days last week hunting doe tags in region 7, 705 specifically. Overall numbers are completely decimated. I hunted same areas 4 years ago and by my eye populations are down 95-97% based on what I saw. Granted last hunt was opening day, this was week following, I'm sure that has... -

Public, hunting end of season though. Flying into Rapid on the 9th and will have the 10-13 to get it done. I also have a region 7 MT tag so I will hop the state line if I get tagged out in SD and try and get a buck there too. Should be a fun trip! -

Idaho throphy species non res odds?
Yup, its a tough sell with the odds for any OIL. If I blank New Mexico I may consider it, but I think I'd rather buy 11 $25 tickets in a raffle tag drawing if I 'm shooting the moon. :(- Doe Nob

Nevada draw who is applying?
I'm in for the guide draw with Nevada Deer. If I wasn't doing that I would probably still be in for Desert Sheep. NV is the best state to try and draw a desert sheep tag and I'm not paying to go to Tiburon Island. So since I have both those reasons and my $155 is sunk, I'm going to keep...- Doe Nob
