Nice work man. The breaks get tougher and tougher every year. I could easily kill a bigger bull with less effort in a general unit than the breaks units I’ve hunted so far. This year it took me 33 boot miles before I found an elk on public.
No transporter would drop you off in the manner you are describing. Only way to actually hover and get dropped off is if you have a buddy that owns a helicopter that is a good pilot that you trust with your life and he drops you.

Maybe I misunderstand how it works but I thought gps told you your position and compass tells you the direction. My position hasn’t been in question, just the direction.
