Christiansen Arms Mesa in 300 Win Mag. Purchase winter of 2021. Still have it, love it. freezer filler. Its favorite round is the Federal Premium 180gr Nosler Partition.
I picked up a Ruger American in .243 with a vortex crossfire scope for my son's 1st deer season rifle this year from Scheels for under $600. Under 200 yards it's a great rifle. scope is meh. I put an Athlon Argos HMR 2-12x42mm on it. Opening day of deer season he filled his tag, dropped a...
I am 2 for 3 for my Burris. I was able to fill tags on pronghorn at 455yards and a mule deer at 485yards. I didnt get the chance to full the late season cow elk tag I had.. due to lack of seeing elk... I dont think I would hunt with any other scopes. No math, range it, dial it, shoot it.

Just swapped the Vortex out for a Burris Veracity PH. I have taken a Pronghorn at 455yards and a Mule deer at 485yards with it on a Bergara Premier Canyon in 6.5mm Creedmoor. Dont want to hunt with anything else on top. So bought one for my CA Mesa 300 Win Mag for an elk hunt this winter....
I love my Mesa 300 Win Mag! 2 elk and a bison with it. I should Federal 180g Nosler partition ammo out of it. Clean it and then re-dirty it with 5 rounds and I get sub MOA.
I have (2) CA Mesa's. One in 6.5 Creedmoor and one in .300 Win Mag. I love both. the 300WM has taken (2) Elk and a bison. I practice with one of them almost every weekend. One thing I have learned: they hate shooting clean. After I clean them I have some "cheap" S&B rounds that I shoot 5...
