Then you have that your using 6.5Prc bushing dies.

You are good to go with any factory ammo up to 150gr. Now the all copper bullets are a little different, the heavier weight may need a faster twist.
130 to 140 Accubond and BT are good for anything from whitetail to Elk. And Federal Fusion is a good choice.

You need to shoot 3 to 5 shot groups with each different ammo on separate targets. And see what your gun (barrel) likes, then buy more of that ammo with the same lot #. If your barrel likes 1 your group's will be smaller. And use whatever rest you have to make your gun as solid as possible...
Both the guns you mentioned are good guns. Spend more money on good Optics. Use a bonded bullet or mono for Elk and they will be fine for whitetail.
If you have to ask about distance, then I would recommend that you shoot Max of 300yds with practice. And with practice you can shoot further...
