When I hunted there a few years ago the wilderness area was packed with hunters. I ended up going north of Weston Pass Rd East slope of Weston Peak and got into plenty of elk and no hunters. I pulled a camper and stayed at Buffalo Springs campground but there is plenty of dispersed camping all over. Good luck.
