George P sounds like you have the best of both worlds. You get to hunt alot and have good friends to help you. Couldn't ask for more than that. The thrill of watching your dogs do a good job and having good friends to help is absolutely the best.
marshmallows work the best for me. Used sardines and tunafish, always caught the neighbors cat or a skunk. Went to marshmallows haven't caught a skunk or cat since. The nicest part is they are so easy to use.

A guy I know packs bread in barrels all the time. As long as you keep air from it it works just fine. What he does is packs the barrel as tight as he can, then he puts some type of liquid over the top. Usually some type of sugar, pie filling, etc.. Once the sugar soaks into the bread it seals...
That sounds about like Wisconsin this year. We were finally able to hunt. The only problem was I didn't have a tag. We did have fun hunting with the guys with tags though. Can't beat being in there when your dog catches them on the ground.

Hunting Wisconsin sounds like Maine. With two exceptions, our season isn't long enough and we don't find as many tracks. Last December the dogs caught and killed one, bayed two more. Not bad when you consider that we only hunted five or six days total.
