I think the 280 rem is about as good of a cartridge as there is. Does almost everything the 7 mag does but with less recoil. The 06 is just a "hey that can kill anything" gun. Dont get me wrong it's not bad but I will take a 284 cal over a 30 cal. It's harder for me to go grab the 308 or the 06...

I have loved nosler but shooting the TBT shrunk my group and was sighted in at 200 yrds from the first shot. I am impressed with Federal

How do you like the 165 grain TBT? I'm prolly switching most of my rifles to TBT and Terminal Ascents
