Sleeping peacefully in griz country
Thank heavens I live in Australia. I sleep like a baby. We have the most and highest rated venomous snakes on the planet , but they sure won't be dragging you out of your tent to feed on you. I'd be terrified. Snakes....big deal. Bears YIKES!!!- Broadjumper

Experience with Durston Tents?
No 2lb tent can withstand severe prolonged wind, especially gusts , and I wouldn't trust those exposed smaller crossing tent poles. Fly Rod help
I think it best to start off with a slower actioned rod and go from there. Beginners often get sold fast rods and have a lot of problems trying to cast with them. A good 5 weight is a nice place to start, and if you can manage it get a lesson or two. Lot of people get taught bad habits by well...- Broadjumper

Meopta make some good stuff. My mates Meopta scope is a grand cheaper than my Swaro Z6s and I really cant tell the difference. Another thing, why don't hunters use Image Stabilized binos ? Be good to leave the tripod at home.- Broadjumper

Swarovski ELs. I have owned the Trinovids and they are great for the price point. I have a mate who has the Zeiss conquest 10 x 42s and I think the Trinovids are a little better for colour.
