Look into buying a jackery. Both my brother in laws have them for overland info and they swear by them. You won’t be putting that into a back pack though. -

New to elk hunting.
Hunting Elk is a blast. Then you kill one and you think oh no what have I done?!? Getting this thing out of here is going to be hell! Our group of 6 got 2 bulls and 1 cow down on the same day. We voted to never do that again. -

I have done DIY since around 2012’ish every year except 2021. I’m fortunate enough where that is easily affordable for me. But I also understand it is out of the question for allot of people. -

For most of us I doubt it’s a pride thing. It’s more of a wallet thing. $4000 for the guide $700 for the tag $300 for processing $1500+ for mount. Approximately $6500 give or take is out of question for a majority of us. Even a DIY hunt is becoming a wealthy mans game. I’m not hating... -

How bad is a 3/4 ton truck off road?
Just ordered it. Won’t have it until June. I has a ‘13 Ram 1500. It was good except warped exhaust manifolds. I just sold a ‘18 Ram 2500 6.4. It pulled 13k well. Also have an ‘18 Durango and my ‘15 Rubicon Can’t wait to get ahold of this gas guzzler 7.3!- Bldrinker

How bad is a 3/4 ton truck off road?
I just ordered an F250 with the 7.3 and 4:30 gears. I’m starting to think I will take my Rubicon hunting this year. So I don’t have to worry about getting stuck or scratched lol- Bldrinker
