Losses at the Forest Service
Long over due IMO. The USFS couldn’t get much worse, the wildland fire fighters are just grunts with no say they will be ok and appreciated. I hope they clean house here I’ll go down to the Ranger District headquarters and wave goodbye.- barefooter19

2024 New Mexico Draw Results
Drew a 16d elk in 2019 Barbary Sheep 2021 Bought a LO tag for elk15 in 2022 This year I’m in for Barbary Sheep, big horn, oryx, elk, deer and antelope. Talked to a Landowner about a elk tag (17) LO tag if I don’t draw anything- barefooter19

I only put in for points this year but if AZ isn’t the craziest, slowest, screwed up draw in the country…..When a state like NM can out do you you know you are scratching the bottom!!! I guess that’s from being a border state where the help is pretty cheap…..- barefooter19

I believe AZG&F would be better off out sourcing their draw to someplace in South America and they would get better results than they get now. Some states are so smooth but AZ is a train wreck every year.- barefooter19

Puffer coat for glassing?
I base layer then a merino wool 1/4 zip then a Sitka kelvin light insulation jacket. If it gets cold I pull out the kelvin lite hoody. Been working great for quite a few years.- barefooter19

Casper WY Relocation

Buying an ATV
In 2003 I bought a brand new Honda Foreman 450ES and can honestly say that it is one of the most trouble free things I have ever owned ! It has 3700 miles on it and all you need to do to it is put the key in and go..It plows snow like a truck, goes anywhere. Since new I’ve had to put tires on...- barefooter19
