What weight merino for September elk?
I usually just bring a Smartwool long sleeve mid weight, probably 200 or so and then a short sleeve 150. Change into the short sleeve mid day if it gets too hot. What brand of food saver bags to use for elk meat
I've tried 5 different brands or so and I think the cabelas bags are my favorite. They feel the thickest and I haven't had many issues with them getting dinged up in the freezer. Placing trail cameras for first time... advice?
I personally don't hang them high and angle them because I usually bolt a lock box to the tree (which is tough to do at an angle) and as long as your target area isn't super close to the camera, I typically get good full body shots.
