    These really help with accuracy

    I tried them when they first came out years ago on some bottle neck cartridges. They didnt show me any improvement in acuuracy.     I use Warne's on this 550 Chambered in 416 Rigby. They have a recoil lug on the rear ring. You can see it in this picture, look for the square notch just below the 2 screws near the receiver on the rear ring. Hope this helps some.;)

    While not a Barnes, I have also tried other homongenous bullets. These in particular are 200 gr Lost River VLD J36 hunting bullets.
