For sure, I have been applying for a Montana moose tag since 1978 and just drew the Region 6 tag. Not much room for spot stealing and tag competion. Not going to effect much because someone exposes the unit they drew.

Just bring a copy of this letter, it kinda goes without saying for NZ folks but it declares the Tahr and Chamois as non Cities. The customs really didnt care about it but I read where you should have it.

When you brought as checked baggage were the skulls boiled and Capes salted? Did you have them in lugage or crate? I am going for Tahr and Chamois as well in 10 days. I am also a Taxidermist, so skiing myself is no problem.
