You can do alright there. I hunted muzzy season and saw some nice deer while driving. All we saw were moo cows in the area they migrate to, but a little early. NO DICE for me on Elk 76 muzzleloader. Options to help judge bear size?
Put out something that can tell height with. Guide for bear said if it is taller than barrel it is a big bear and to shoot. Maybe a branch put in a hole of the trail and tie yarn every 3 inches or just paint two different colors. Or go full send and get a 12 14ft section of old utility pole and...- Falcon75

Bear baiting question
Get a water soaker toy that is a big tube that you put in a bucket (fryer oil) and pull handle back to fill. Push forward to soak trees. They can shoot 35 40 feet.- Falcon75

Thinking of switching from fixed blade to mechanical broadheads
Had a guy in deer camp 30 years ago with buckblasters and a blazing fast bow of 330fps. They were a small fixed blade and mechanical that opened to 2.5 inches 125 grain. He blew holes through deer and they dropped. I always wanted them so wouldn't have to worry about this debate. Tune bow and... -

Great job. Now go rent a drift boat in town or get a inflatable kayak on clearance at Walmart. The fly shops out of town south will get you set up. I wish I would have tried closer to the dam when I was there.
