I would DIY that hunt.

Know a guy. Experienced elk hunter. Waited 16 years for a tag in the hills. Was looking for a big one. Hunted hard, had a few missed opportunitys and the heat turned on and he never filled his tag.
So was having a few beers with a Nonhunting friend over the weekend. And told him I was going on a bear hunt in a week.
He was curious and told him I told him a bit about it.

If your from ND and the hunt is in ND. I would suggest burning bootleather this summer and figuring it out yourself. The info you get firsthand will be better than from some schmuck on the internet. But hey what do I know, I'm some random dude on the internet.
