It was just S&S and we had hunted five days without seeing a bear before she shot at this one Monday night. If anybody knows a houndsmen in the Council, ID area, I could really use a hand. My wife shot at a good bear tonight and we're not sure if she hit it, but it got dark on us. We could really use some dogs tomorrow if anybody is available 🙏- grizzly_

You need an Entry Pass to get into Arches now. Buy it early at Recreation.gov We just got back from White Rim Trail last weekend (also permit-required). It's beautiful country. Plan ahead for what you want to do. The best food down there is actually in Green River at Tamarisk, IMO.- grizzly_

Who has the right to appeal a tax assessment value in Wyoming? I would think a landowner can appeal their own tax assessed value, but can a concerned citizen appeal the value of another parcel as a resident of that tax district?- grizzly_

Study: Hunters Die After Consuming CWD-Infected Venison
There is some concern among researchers due to clusters of CJD in areas of CWD. This includes hunting partners that died of CJD within a short time of each other. It could be coincidence, but they're not sure. https://www.neurology.org/doi/10.1212/WNL.0000000000204407- grizzly_

It would be nice if every state offered an easy way to have your animals tested prior to consumption. My neighbor died of CJD several years ago. One day she was golfing and started having strange symptoms that her friends thought were symptoms of a stroke. Some diagnostic tests later and they...- grizzly_

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?
👍 Any thoughts on what the fixed rate will be next month? I don't know enough about how the rate is established to know how it will compare to the current rate. Where I intend it to be a long-term hold, I feel like the fixed rate is more important to me than the variable rate.- grizzly_

This is the proverbial "money under the mattress" fund. Cash has lost nearly half it's value since 2000 and I don't want to have to be chasing CDs every 6-12 months for the next 30 years just to stay up with inflation. Plus, it's only tied up for 12 months, and the 3 month penalty is gone after...- grizzly_
