    Favorite Stillwater Flies?

Having grown up going after bass and panfish in the South (with a few stocked trout thrown in), terrestrials and streamers just make more sense to me. Going to have to really dial up my midge game. PS: how do you lip hook a live shiner on one of them little size 20 hooks?

    Favorite Stillwater Flies?

Have you messed with any of the gummy worms? Weighted or weightless?

    Favorite Stillwater Flies?

The mountain streams and rivers are pretty high right now, so have been thinking about trying my luck at stillwater flyfishing. What are some of your favorite flies for lakes and ponds?

    Muley Freak in trouble?

BC matters right up until the moment a projectile reaches the target, then things get real squirrely.

    Brass for sale

For sure, but I’m running the AI. Could probably still neck up using the AI die but it would easier to start with the original Bob.

    Brass for sale

Paging @perma, @perma you are needed in Aisle 3. What brand is the 6mm Remington? Any chance you have any .257 Bob or .338-06 collecting dust in your storage facility?

Snake gaiters or Regular gaiters in snake country

I had become accustomed to watching where I stepped while tromping through the swamps, but the time I nearly walked face-first into a moccasin wrapped around a tree limb at chest height was a gamechanger.

Snake gaiters or Regular gaiters in snake country

Have a pair of Danner Pronghorn snakeproofs that have been very comfortable and held up well for the last several years. I don't bother with snakeproofs in the west but was religious about wearing them when hunting back in Alabama. Why, you ask?

    What's on the smoker today?

Presently hearing @WildWill saying " 'ats not a steak, 'iss is a steak" in his best Crocodile Dundee impression.

    The Rinella Effect

Venture capital is a helluva drug... I'll add, I'm still a huge Meateater/Rinella fan and am grateful for all of the work they have done in land access, conservation and normalizing hunting to folks who would otherwise have no exposure to it. But the podcast has started feeling very...

Help trying to match a powder from the 1960s

Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading (11th ed.) calls for a max load of 64.3gr. of IMR 4350 and 67.2 of H4350 for 165gr. projectiles. So... back to square one. Are you certain these notes are from the 1960s? If so, I think there is a likelihood the recipes call for IMR 4350. You may want...
