    Disabled hunting equipment market

Probably not enough demand/ too high of a cost, means not enough sales. Theres definitely options for folks with disabilities. My first thought is crossbows. But there's far more. Look up Hope Outdoors and see what they're doing. They have alot of innovative ways of getting disabled folks hunting

Like alot of things in life, if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.

Pondering factory loads vs starting loads

Piss poor factory ammo is the reason I started reloading. This is especially true of all the "old" magnums like 357, 44 mag, 7mm rem mag. Those all came out a long time ago and I think manufacturers are scared those older guns out there might blow up so they've watered ammo down. My reloads...

    Insert Installation Tips?

Blue glue! It's ridiculously strong. Just clean out the shafts first with contact cleaner. I shortened my arrows a few inches last year, the ONLY way to get them out of the arrow was to screw in a field point, chuck it in my lathe and turn the carbon shaft off the insert.

Ready for a new 7 mag load

I think if you stay with the slowest burning powders and near max charges you'll get good results

Ready for a new 7 mag load

I shoot 162 gr eldxs out if my 7mm rem mag. 74.5 grs (under book max) of 8133 pushes them at 3150 fps. Other loads I tried were with 160 gr accubond with one oddball powder and one with h1000. Those two loads were around 3050 to 3100. Abysmal velocity of watered down factory ammo for this...

    Hornady 7 PRC a Lie?

Yall are making me love my 7 rem mag even more. If your going to handload the old magnums are great cartridges, they've been watered down over the years in factory ammo and handholding brings back their full potential. There's no excuse for modern cartridges to not meet advertised specs. The...

    Leupold CDs technical question

I zero at 100 and then chrono my gun, and go use hornadys calculator to get the moa numbers for 150,200,250,300 etc. Then I take a fine tip silver sharpie and mark on top of the cds cap a line and a 1.5, line and a 2 and so on. This way it's custom and marked in yardages but can be redone if I...

    .17 HMR TNT vs. V-MAX

My savage 93r17 will cut baseball cards in half around 50 yards it's so accurate

    .17 HMR TNT vs. V-MAX

If your staying with 17 grain, try the savage A17 load. It's 100+fps faster than all other 17 grain loads out there. You can also pick it up in a bulk box too

Coyotes what are they thinking and why

I know I'm no help in determining their thought processes. But to me if their coming in your property like this it's not worth figuring out. It's easier to eliminate the problem.

Coyotes what are they thinking and why

I'd set up a game camera to pinpoint their patterns and times. Then be waiting for them and kill them. Get a cheap IR camera that attaches to a regular scope, has a small screen to show what the camera sees, and a IR flashlight. Its the poor man's heat scope. And it most certainly works. And...
