Montana General Season Structure Proposal
Spring trend counts tell you year to year what is being removed not by just hunters but by all means. Here these flights go back decades. Our bio does a good job flying 5 HD's. We see the counts every year and have for close to 40 years. This drives the season setting, permit levels and quotes. -

This. I would rather see FWP spend money on spring surveys. Really good trend counts. Buck/doe, doe/fawn, bull/cow and cow/calf ratios are where it's at. Doesn't really matter what hunters, wolves or winter kill. What matters is what is left on the ground come spring. Good flight data not... -

House of Representatives votes to remove gray wolves from endangered species list
Boebert’s name in the same sentence with the word “science” is damn funny. And back in 2011 the Montana legislature came within inches of screwing up the delisting. Ben Lamb and some others help kill the nonsense before damage was done. Legislators involved with wildlife never turns out well.- tjones

Nothing was derailed. Accuracy in posting and looking at the complete picture is important. Thinking small groups show up just because MWF or BHA ask them to is silly. These groups were around long before BHA was even a thought. Again, I appreciate the work BHA, MWF and all groups do. Carry on.- tjones

I appreciate the work all groups do but this statement is not accurate. Just because you don't see it, or folks don't show up at commission meetings doesn't mean work is not getting done. Much of the heavy lifting on proposals and season settings gets done well before the commission ever sees it.- tjones
